Peter G. Lisle began his career as an investment advisor after receiving his B.A. from Williams College in 1960.  After two years with National Shawmut Bank in Boston as a credit analyst and loan-officer trainee, he attended Wharton Business School graduating with a M.B.A. in December 1965.  For the next three years he worked as an investment analyst with Fidelity Mutual Life Insurance Co. of Philadelphia.

He joined Brown Lisle Cummings in 1968 as an active partner and served as such until 2011 when he assumed Emeritus Partner status and eventually retired in October 2019.  He has previously served as a director of the Boston Stock Exchange, as a member of the District Conduct Committee of NASD, and on the executive committee of the Providence Society of Financial Analysts.  In addition, he has served as a director of various local land conservation trusts, the Audubon Society of R.I., the R.I. Committee for the Humanities as well as on investment committees for local schools, libraries, health organizations, and private clubs.

He currently resides in the nearby coastal community of Westport, Massachusetts with his wife, Kay, close to their four children and five grandchildren.  He continues to enjoy worldwide travel and fishing as well as active participation in investment research.
